i would seperate them as well. its difficult to get a proper temperature in a small tank. eventually you will need to seperate them anyway as there's no gaurantee when they're older that they will tolerate each other. i was going to keep both of my corns together at one point but it was plain to see that they did not like each other one bit.
also, have you gotten any fecals done on either of them? one may be ill or have parasites and it may be causing the regurge. and if one has an illness or parasite you certainly don't want it transfering over to the other one.
they may not seem stressed but reptiles don't always show signs of illness that we see. make sure you keep an eye on them for any strange behavior or further regurges.
