Lesson of the day: If someone is stupid enough to buy that product, they DESERVE to drown.

This is true. We could look at it as a "gene pool improvement product." Maybe one of the purchasers of this product will even win a Darwin Award.
My other thought is that this ad is offensive on two fronts. It gives snakes AND hunters a bad name. I'll bet it would get similar reactions on a hunting/gun website just like it has here. It deffinitely exploits the negative stereotypes of both groups: snakes are out to get 'ya and hunters are gun totin' idiots who shoot at anything that moves (shoot to kill, now...). It was a full color ad in a national NRA magazine, so it must have been very expensive ad space. Makes me wonder if the ad actually works on anyone!

Re: RIDICULOUS "Snake Slayer" Ad
people are retarded- BUT
There is a lake near where I live and the cotton mouths WILL actually come up in your boat after you- jet ski's and everything else- the lake is so overrun with the things they're incredibly territorial and if you get back in the coves and more secluded areas- you better be a snake person with a lot of experience....
but- yha, products like that really are just retarded.

The irony of a herd of "armed" (get it, "armed"?) snakes "running" (get it, "running"?) around the woods by the shore of the river is just killing me! Do 10 minutes of side-splitting laughter count as ab exercises?
