Color change?

When I got my fire skink she was a brilliant red color on the sides and alot more uncooperative to handling. Now she is a duller pink color on the sides and is alot more tame. She still fights when being taken out, she swims through her substrate and tries her best to get away from me. When she's out though, she just sits around and relaxes. I know she's eating cause crickets disappear from her cage all the time. I don't think it's dulling because she's going to sluff soon and stress isn't an issue for her because her roommate is as relaxed as she is and he gives her a wide berth no matter what. She is otherwise very healty looking and doesn't move around any more or less than when I got her.
Should I be worried about this or is this just a normal thing?

Tough to say. I don't ever see her unless I take her out. She could be due for a shed right now! She digs so much that the shed gets mixed in with the soil before I can even clean it out so I never know when she is shedding. I'll have to wait and see. I've had her since about October.

I picked up my fire skink today and she was sluffing. She wasn't even grumpy that I was bugging her during sluff, what a sweetheart.
