I HAD one, but he passed away years ago, he was WC and a real pain in the butt, but i'd take him out and play with him anyway. Their bite isn't bad enough to deter me.

Mine was wild caught (hence the WC) I found him while I was out looking for rocks. Mine was an adult, his bite never hurt me. His name was Jumper. I had him for about 4 years before he passed on. They are really common around here, so common that people don't keep them as pets, so don't get your hopes up that you have something rare, although they are cool little lizards. I didn't see mine very often though, he prefered to hide.

I've never kept one but I have harrassed many of them (along with anything else that crossed my path )as a child!
We used to see them around here occassionally. They are a very attractive lizard.
And FAST!

Yes...very fast! they run infront of me all of the time while i'm biking and I usually do a 'steve irwin' type dive into the brush trying to grab it. i'm not usually successful, but it's still fun!
