My <still nameless> Skink

Hi all,
My name is Kiley and along with my girl friend Nikki am the proud parents of 2 chinese water dragons and 1 northern blue tongue skink. I have introduced myself in the introduction thread and my dragons in the dragon forum so here is the skinks time to shine. We have had him/her for a little over a week now, he/she eats great and is a blast to watch sniff around. She is much more calm and cuddly (if you can call a reptile cuddly) then my water dragons. Without further interuption here is THE SKINK:

A beauty...are you on the Blue Tongue Skink.net forums? These pix look familiar! I'm thinking I might buy myself a northern for my birthday!

Great pics Kiley! I can see that you and Lacey are going to be competing on skink tongue shots.

Yes I am going by the same username (pooka) on Blue Tongue Skink.net, I love the community there-very tight knit. I don't see much competetion happening, I can't get the picture off with her/his tongue out for the life of me! If I were to get more tiongue shots I think I'm better off shooting video then captureing the frame with the tongue shot and making a pic out of it Again thanks for the warm welcomes

Since you aren't going to compete with me i'll give you my secret to getting a good tongue shot, feed them something gooey, like cat food and they'll stick their tongue out alot trying to get it all off of their face.
The Blue Tongue Skink.net forum is informational and tight knit, but sometimes they are a little blunt for me, and I think they are a little slow to accept new people into their club but i'm working on it!

Thanks for the photo tip, I'll have to give that a try sometime

BTW all, we finally named the skink last night took 2 weeks but the call was made finally, we are going to refer to her as a her untill we know better and her name is Kismet.
