I am getting a new crocodile skink coming with my baby blizzard leo (packaged seperate). I am so very excited! I think the wait to get it from lllreptile is going to make me insane! I have to wait a week! My gosh, that is way to long!

Are they being shipped?

If so two packages overnighted....WOW! Thats like $80+ in shipping.

8-10 inches. I am going to call lllreptile to see howmuch shiping will cost. Every other time I bought herps they onyl cost 15.00 shipping If you are right, I may have to resort to getting only a skink and not the blizzard leo for the time being.

I don't think anywhere will ship if the temp is below like 50...however different companies different agreements.

If your in MI I would wait to have anything shipped until after April just to be safe. Overnight hardly ever means overnight, more like the day after overnight should get there

They are shipped with heatpacks and shipped in a plane I believe. The heat packs last about 7-10 hours I know that it usually is 1 day and a half to 2days. They are being sent to the airport where I will be driving to to pick them up. The airport is heated.

The airport, dropoff location, and storage (if necessary) aren't the main concern, they are a concern but not the main one. What worries me and where most of the problems with shipping stem from is the truck. Depending on the company a incompetent truck driver can mean bad things for your new herp.

For example my last overnight shippment that I recieved, first at the drop off location the package was left (their fault). Second the package got put on the wrong truck, quickly and nicely sorted out but another bump and thankfully it was warm out, so after touring the neighboring town the herp got put back on another truck and delivered to my apartment, but due to not being able to find my apartment number and the office not being allowed to accept packages the herp got put back on the truck and toured the city until we tracked it down and he turned around and redelivered it.

Not trying to cause you any panick, I just thought you should know. Im sure that such a big company knows what they are doing and gurantees live arrival. Good luck with everything I can't wait to see what your skink looks like.

I have had airport drop offs before and was easily pleased.
Yes lllreptile gaurantees live arrival, like I said the skink will be dropped off at the airport where I will be picking him up. There will be no stops to drop items off at anyones house. Last time that happened with my crickets they were dropped off to a house that was in the process of beng made and the windows were bolted...( next door neighbor)
I found out the shipping is going to cost 30 dollars. So who knows if I will get the blizzard too. I have to think about it.

The example you made happened with my bearded dragons. After we found the people who had it they drove to our house while I was watching tv (near the door) and the delivery person didn't even bother to knock on the door. Simply set the box down near the door and left. I found the box sitting there while I watched my show for 30 minutes...

News: it will only cost 30 dollars for the both of them to be shipped together (packaged seperate). If I were to do it at a seperate time for each of them it would cost 60 for shipping. I am relieved
