I'm getting it through a reptile pet shop near where I live. I have to check where he gets his from first though. I'd prefer to go straight to a breeder but I can't find any that will deliver to me. Any that I've found all seem to be located in America.

They only ship within the US as do most of the breeders and sellers ive researched and well im a long long way from america! even if they did I believe theres a large price to get the certification to ship them out of the country and even more fees to bring them into this country

Yes. When you start dealing with shipping live animals across national boundaries it gets pretty complicated.
Not to mention expensive.
That's assuming that the officials will even allow it at all!

I have seen breeders that ship snakes internationally and they charge about 150 dollars extra to get certification. Then I think shipping is about another 100. Even though you can get them out I don't know what the situation is about bringing them into Ireland so I think it will have to be a pet shop for me rather than a breeder.

Oh well at least I know with the pet shop I'm going to that the guy is legit.
He looks after his animals well and knows what hes talking about.
