get a pot of boiling water add bleach put every thing in it..let it sit ...i used lice spray,bleach,boiling water for the cage aswell..and I sprayed only reptile relief on the animal..now no more mites i got mites from a pet store *open bag of mulch* it was a reptile pet store and seemed to get them right after I put the substrate in -.-

That might work but the tank that I have cannot hold water LOL
Its for reptiles only.
The reptile spray that I have can be sprayed on the tank.
I just wonder about the shedding, I will give him a soak today.
The directions on the bottle only say for snakes do not apply until 6 hours after a shed...it says nothing about lizards he was supposed to get another treatment today but when I woke up he was shedding.
Maybe I am just impatient?? lol

Give him a bath and a good scrubbing, I think part of the problem is with the Blue Tongue Skink they have those big overlapping scales so the mites can probably hide from the pesticide up under the scales.

Thanks Lacey the bath did the trick! He even let me rub his face (the top of his head) to get the scales off.
But I think I will wait a day or so to do the mite treatment again.
