Ahem.
I BRED THOSE FOR A FEW YEARS!!! Most of them are unfriendly. Looks like you got the same morph as my female (the top one) with the speckled pattern. The other one is a very common one with the yellow throat and red side, but nice with the speckling. It's more common to have glossy scales instead of matte, mine are both matte, how are yours? They usually aren't friendly. Mabuya multifasciata. Yours look like Juveniles. A word of warning: Feed carrots to the crickets. Trust me, they can lose toes easy, especially juveniles, and the best idea we have at my university is that they might actually be diabetic. So the high sugar in the crix stomachs works well. Oh yes, they THRIVE without UV and are fully viviparous, so if you plan on breeding you don't need to worry about eggs. Oh yes, babies die easy and eat about 100 dollars of food during the time the mom cares for them, which is up to three months but remove them at two (any sooner and the mom will freak out for a while). Oh yes, don't spray too much (once every few days) or they'll get tail rot REALLY REALLY easy. Females are super aggressive and will take people and objects into the territory. They have a terrible rage on other species, fight with males (until dominance is established). Yours look female, especially the speckled one, but the one with the stripe COULD be a male. The only way to tell, and I kid you not, is to look "under the skirt" or know the faces (Which has been 100% for me so far). I need a top view of the head to figure it out. Anymore questions, let me know! |
