Hi,
My female Prehensile-tailed skink, Flicka, has been getting fat and irratable the past couple of months, so I figured she might be gravid. Yesterday, I went to the vet. The vet felt two separate "lumps" in Flicka's lower abdomen. We then did an ultrasound, and we saw a head and a spine. We only saw one baby, but the vet still thinks there is another one in there. I am guessing my female is between five and six months gravid. Flicka passed a "slug", an unfertilize egg, in May. Shortly after passing the slug, I did note some note some mating behavior on May 20th, but I am not sure if that is when she became gravid. I am so excited!!! This will be my first birth, but I think I can handle it. Josh

And I think its interesting also because they give birth to a live baby...no eggs to worry about....that's awesome.....best wishes.....
