Thank you all for your compliments. Their mothers green eyes are truley stunning, but it is not a trait she passed on to my male. Hopefully his offspring will bear their grandmothers eyes. The green eyes are just one of many iris colors these skinks can have. They generally are shades of green, yellow, and brown, but I have seen some other colors. My female has yellow eyes and my male has brownish-yellow eyes. They do have live birth, ususally single large babies around 100-120 grams and about a foot long. However, twins are often born, but they can weigh as little as 70 grams at birth. My male and his twin brother were both around 85 grams at birth. Josh

This is definitely my favorite skink species, and one of my favorite lizards. I'm still jealous

How big do the prehensile tailed skinks get full grown? I have a baby Merauke Blue Tongued Skink, just curious for comparison.

Marine, They get quite large. Adults get from 24-32 inches long, but keep in mind that at least half of that is tail. They can weigh from 400-800 grams, but most are around 500 grams. Josh
