Picky little bum!
I figured out what the deal with my Blue Tongue Skink is...he just didn't want to eat ANY type of bug or veggie. He gobbled up a ton of baby food today and some cat food 2 days ago. What a little weasel!!

Baby food and cat food are my two standbys for getting my Blue Tongue Skink to eat. Usually I run everything through the chopper to make it so they can't pick anything out and then I top it off with a spoonful of organic squash babyfood. I've found that my guys have texture issues, they like everything to be smooth. and since I am a complete pushover I usually comply.

Yeah the cat food we use has some vegetable matter (non filler). It's a high end food, Eagle pack, and usually I shred carrots, put in endive or whatever else I have at the time. This time I was a bit short handed.

Spot's Stew is expensive but the skinks love it. It's all natural too. I don't know if the big chain stores carry it, i've never seen it in them, but my boss special orders it for me.

We feed either Merrick or Eagle Pack. Mostly Eagle Pack. Blueberry cannot seem to resist that stuff.
