Skinks on the fritz!
OKay, in the last week my skinks have been going CRAZY. Season is changing here, snowed in the region surprisingly. Unseasonable, even for Canada.
My female gold skink, who has been hand fed for 4 years by me in the same way, nipped me INSTEAD of her cricket and then took the cricket. She's never bitten or opened her mouth at me before.
My male Gold skink, since being moved to a new cage with familiar rocks, is making burrows and not basking, for no reason at all.
My female fire skink vocalized during feeding with an audible double squeek.
My blue tongue skink has fasted for 5 days now but is far more active than I've ever seen it and VERY clingy to me.
My croc skinks and berber remain unchanged, however.
What up with this? I've never seen a skink affected by weather or seasonality this bad.
