Oklahoma City Show

Just to let anyone in the area know there is a reptile expo in Oklahoma City, July 22-23, at the LaQuinta Inn Conference room, 800 S. Meridian.
Contact #s are 405-282-3467 and 405-282-7287

Its not a huge show like you see in pictures from Daytona etc.
But its a fun one.
I am planning on being there!

We are planning on going to this show also. The kids are very interested in meeting you. I hope we get to see you there & that you might not mind "showing them the ropes". They have a million questions & I would love for them to be educated by someone with your knowledge on herps. We are still undecided on the type we are getting. We just want alot of information & this chance for the kids to interact with some of the animals to see which ones they love. The ones they are leaning towards now are bearded dragons & leopard geckos. The boys are very excited about this show!

I would love to meet you and your family and will have no problem talking with your kids. I have frequently been told that I should have been a teacher!I am going to try to go Saturday and may even go both days if it is a good enough show. However with my life nothing is set in stone.
However the vendors at these shows LOVE to talk about their animals. Its a real passion for them. And in my opinion if they won't take the time to talk to you (assuming they aren't waiting on someone else) they aren't people you want to deal with anyways.
I'll pm you a description

Awww Julianda , It was my pleasure!

I always enjoy seeing the light in youngster's eyes when they find that certain special animal!
Both her boys were perfectly behaved gentlemen.
And they got to go home with a baby Bearded Dragon and a baby cornsnake!

The addiction has begun! Muuuhahahahahahahahahahah!
(And what is funny is she had told me that she was DETERMINED that she wasn't coming up to buy anything. Boy! Where have we all heard/said THAT before!)

Those are great pictures. It looks like it was a lot of fun! Did they go home with one of the corns in the pictures? How about the Bearded Dragon? Is he the little one in the pic?

The corn they got was different. It was bit larger and an amel.
I don't know if the Bearded Dragon is the one in the picture but it was from the same vendor.
