OK this is bizarre.

I click on the new post button.
I click on the first thread (newest) and read it.
I click on the new post button, that thread I just looked at isn't there any more.
I read the next new post on the list.
I click on the new post button and once again, the thread I just read isn't there any more.

and so on.

10 bucks says I'll click on the new post button after posting in this thread, and this thread won't be listed any more either.

its never been that way for me~! Once i read it, it stays on the list, its just grayed out and not bold!

Wonder if its a mac thing. And of course its back now since you posted.

How it used to be for me:
Not read ever was BOLD BLACK
Read and no new posts was NOT BOLD GRAY
Read once and a new post in it that i have not read BOLD GRAY

It was this way when using the pull down tab on the "old" site, old meaning 3 weeks ago.

The "new post" feature is for posts that are new to you. In other words unread.
Once you have opened it, it isn't "new" anymore.
But if you want to find it again look in "todays posts"
