Ok, noted. I am currently reworking the "look". I myself didn't care for how the Recent Posts were being displayed, but as stated in the past, I am my worst critic so I wanted to hear what everyone else thought.

I should have a new layout in an hour or so.

I think it would be nice to see when a thread was started, not just when the most recent post was made.

Thats already there by default Steph. I didn't remove that code. Under the title for the recent thread, it shows the thread starter as well as the date the thread was started.

How does the homepage appear now? Is everyone "ok" with how the recent posts now display, or would you prefer i try to come up with something else?

looks a whole lot better, but like everyone else has said, I don't think many of us spend much time on the home page... I would even venture to say that you could use less space for the topics (since most of us go to "new" or "recent" posts anyways...) and give more space over to other things... But that really does look better than it had, has more of a HCN feel to it.

It shows on the Home page, but it doesn't show on the New Posts list. It would be nice if it showed here too.

I prefer this incarnation of the Home Page better than the last one but it still looks a bit "busy".
Maybe if the boxes for "Posted by" and "last post" sections were colored and isolated more from the body of the post it might be more attractive.
