Fatal mistake. Newt dead. Kicking myself.

I am down to one FBN now. I left a part of the lid unlocked and the poor little guy decided to go on an adventure. I found him dried up on the carpet this morning. Reminder for all, don't ever forget to secure the lid. This was a stupid mistake that could have been prevented. I killed him by leaving the lid open.

The same thing has happened to me twice. You can't leave ANY space in the lid AT ALL. I'm sorry about your loss. I had plans to breed. One male and two females. then, one day I went to get some crickets from the cricket cage and there he was, behind the cricket cage all dried up.
