Mud Puppies?

Anyone ever had one? There's two in the store near me and they are adorable.

No. But I want one but I can't find any in the stores around where I live

I've never owned them, but we used to sell them in the store I worked at, so I have a general idea of their care.

They need brackish water which is half salt and half fresh. They also need the tank to be half empty with basking rocks, as they do enjoy coming out of the water. You can feed them small guppies as adults, and blood or black worms as juveniles. Good luck

What you are referring to are mudskippers, not mud puppies.
Mud puppies are an aquatic salamander also known as a waterdog..

Double Z - I know this is about 4 months old. I was wandering if you ever got the Mud Puppies? the thread sort of died. If you still want info let me know. I have one as well as a good size tiger Sal that I have had for a few years now. Also, I have some of those "other" guys mentioned too. Mud Skippers.
