Newt Troubles
Ok so I got some new baby fire belly newts that are the same size as my Crested Geckos, about to weeks ago. Anyway I was told to feed them live brine shrimp so I got them. I put some of them in a small dish for the newts, but it doesn't look like they are eating them. I also got the turtle/newt pellets, and they don't eat those at all. I'm thinking of trying blood worms next. Also they spend almost all there time hiding under a branch in the tank. I rarely see them in the water. Is there anyway I can get them to eat or are they sick? I'll try to get pics asap. Thanks for the help.

Re: Newt Troubles
How long have you had them? If they are brand new, they are probably stressed out and could use a few more days to settle in.

Re: Newt Troubles
It is possible they are still adjusting. Have you tried Blackworms ? I use them for my hatchling turtles for the first few months. Blackworms are very small, easy for little critters to catch and eat.
