I'm thinking yours is most likely a female, but in spring it should be more obvious. The age is hard to pinpoint, because there's no set time limit on how long they'll remain in the larval stage. They can remain in larval form for just a few weeks, becoming neonates at just 3 inches long or so, or they can remain in larval form for months, metamorphosing at adult size. Some will occasionally remain in larval form their entire lives, not to be confused with axolotls though.
Edit: Haha, I just see you added a picture. Hmm, my guess is still female, but like I said, you might have to wait until spring to find out for sure. If it doesn't swell during the breeding season, then it's definately a female.

Neat little sally, like the hide you have in. Old feeder containers are the best

Hehe, he/she kinda outgrew the feeding container, but he still likes it anyway =P
I think I'm gonna keep calling Ginui a he till I know it's a she, haha =P It looks a little like your pictures of the males, but not as swollen as that. But it doesn't look flat like the female pic you posted. Hrmm... Time will tell I suppose!

For some more comparisons, there's some male/female pics in this link if you scroll down. Granted, it's during the breeding season, and they're not tigers, but it's the same basic principle.

Hrm.. I dunno. That would be kinda disapointing if it turned out Ginui was a she after calling it a he for so long, haha. Ah well.

lol, I know what you mean. I had a Bibron's gecko named Gex for many years before I finally decided to sex "him". Turns out "he" was a she all along.
