There's a frog here where I live, I think it's called a 'wood frog'. It goes underneath some leaf litter and the first few layers of the frog freeze. It can literally be frozen into a block of ice and walk away next thaw. I've seen time lapse video of the thaw, it's awesome. The insides don't freeze, mind you, but they have anti-freeze in their blood. The skin is what freezes!
