My female Kenyan

I was given her in July by a "breeder" who couldn't get her to eat. She was 10 months old, 11 grams and had only eaten 3 times since birth. Since I got her on July 2, she has only missed one week because she was in shed. She has a nippy attitude which I think is funny cuz I think she bites but I'm never quite sure, lol.

oh she is a cutie pie....keep up the good work with her.

Question, what do you think may be the difference with your care and the care she was getting with the breeder?

Another breeder and myself felt that the temperature was probably too low. She isn't a true breeder IMO, it's more of a hobby and I don't agree with her husbandry habits. She had the whole clutch in a dirty 10 gal tank with sand/dirt mixture. She said she had to force their mouths open to get them to feed and this one wouldn't accept the pinkies. Sand Boas in general are easy feeders and that should never have had to be done, so it could have been stress related too. I have one of her BD as well...deformed back and she was trying to breed her I'll try to get a clearer pic of her, she has grown a fair amount now

Pretty color to her. Glad she made it to someone who knew how to treat her right.
