Kenyans not eating....Help??

Now I know this is about that time of year and all, i just want to make sure, now one of them is in shed and the other I think is about to but not positive. I also have another female, that I am feeding live pinks to and she bit the frozen one last night and she acted like she was killing it and when done she walked away and left it there. Is this just because she is eating live or can I keep trying and see if she will eat the frozen?

You did thaw the frozen one, right? Was it warm enough? You could trying getting it real warm and putting the snake in a container with a lid and leave it there for a couple of hours to see if she will eat it. I would continue offering her the frozen thawed so you can get her switched.

its not exactly a sand boa but I do have a rosy boa. he's about 5 years old I think. i've only had him for 2 years. last year during the colder months he did go off of food from like october till like january. i asked a friend who had him before and he said the snake was like that every winter. this year he went off food around august so I was expecting it. he's still off food now. some snakes do go off food for the winter so maybe that might be it. or maybe she just wasn't hungry when it was offered to her. i recently did switch all my snakes over to frozen thawed. i was a little hesitant because they've never had frozen thawed in the years that i've had them. since my rosy is off food i'm not sure how he'll take to them yet but my two corns took them no problem. so yea do keep trying and i'm sure eventually when she's hungry enough and sees that this is to be her food she'll eat it. don't give up! good luck.

Weather could play in this too. My male bp is fasting right now, he ate like a champ this time last year, but not this year. Its all on the animal, they know whats going on more than we do. DOnt give up. missing one feeding isnt bad.
