Actually it's pretty cheap. I think anywayz rather then any other bedding excpet paper towels and newspaper that's real cheap. But a bag cost about 13.00 bucks and it's fairl;y big it filled 4 10 gal tanks for me!!

Thats really not all that cheap when you compare it to something like aspen. A 12 dollar bag of aspen will last me for weeks and that is filling a 55 gallon tank and 9 sterilites about the size of 10 gallon tanks several times.

i switched over from a woodchip like bedding to carefresh. i like carefresh better cuz it lasts longer then the woodchip stuff I had and its not dusty like other stuff i've tried. it lasts me quite awhile even with a small bag cuz I just scoop out the clump with the snake doo in it and change it completely every 1-2 months. my snakes love it to burrow in. its not exactly as cheap as what I used before but oh well lol.

See that's the thing I don't use it for all my herps just the sand boas, and a little spot for my male uro. So I don't use alot and don't need alot, and I like it better then aspen bedding. Everything else gets paper towels and the leo is on repti carpet!
