Are Crested Geckos supposed to lay infertile eggs once or twice per year? Mine has this habit of doing it, even though I've had her since she was a tiny girl and she hasn't seen a male since. Why does she insist on doing this!?

Nature calling maybe? As long as it doesn't deplete her Ca reserves, she should be fine.

They do deplete her reserves...and she's a VERY fussy eater! I got things under control, I just wanna know what's goin on and if she's special or just weird.

haha, why does she insist on doing it?? I dont think she has control over her body producing eggs. All the female Crested Geckos Ive cared for have done the same thing. You should try pairing her up with a male And be sure to provide extra calcium supps.

I will as soon as my girlfriends male is big enough...Petri is kind of violent and mean towards other Crested Geckos, especially ones smaller than her.
