Wow! Ive heard of them but have never seen one..very beautiful!!, try searching Kingsnake.com if someone is selling one, it's probably there though Im pretty sure the price tag is not as pretty as the gecko!

From what I've heard and read that gecko can almost be considered 'a genetic fluke,' some sort of mutation. They haven't been able to reproduce it again. I could be wrong, I was very fluent in my CG morphs when this one was produced and haven't been too up to date on it recently.

This may sound weird but the only thing close to that I have seen is my male, but he's almost off-white most of the time. He gets very dark during the day though and is patternless aside from partial pinstripe.

As much as I am a fan of the color, did you see the lashes on that baby? He must be working with some awesome specimens.

That gecko is not really that color. It is nearing a shed and that is why it seems blue. This was a big deal a few months back and was proven that that gecko is not naturally that color.

The owner of a petstore neat me called Pet'acular exotics specializes in Rhacodactylus' and he is very reputable when it comes to rhacs, even mentioned in the new Rhac book. He told me it was a fake then showed me some reptile magazine where they mentioned it was just a gecko nearing a shed as well.

Also on the new Rhac book by de Vosjoli, fast, and Repashy, turn to page 78 and look at the picture of the blueish gecko, they tell you how when some certain colors reach shedding, they gain the blueish tint.

Thanks for the replies everyone. I just thought the animal was stunning. It had alot of charecteristics I would like to add to my breeding program (including the super lashes Cody mentioned) and the lack of patterning. I am hoping to get some of my reds and my pale toned ones to be entirely patternless. I know those are out there just trying to do it on my own. Thanks again and Happy Herping!
