Am I the luckiest guy on earth or what? part 2

I'm beaten up. It was a very long and extenuating day.
Before I pass out trying to get into my bed, I have time only to share with you the sequel to "Am I the luckiest guy on earth or what?"

After gathering some insight here, today I travelled 600km to see the only crested and gargoyle geckos known in Portugal for sale after the first registered import.
I was aiming for the gargoyles and was able to buy a couple, or at least we think they are a couple. Time will tell.

And so, without further delays, I present you the unnamed white marble female (brown for the picture) and the also unnamed dark brown, orange and gold stripped male.

Needless to say, my face hurts of smiling so much! =)

Awesome looking specimens rbl. I just sold my marble gargoyle due to life changing events. I must say they are the coolest little guys to have . Congrats on both.

Thanks! =) They are indeed very cool. Last night I heard some "clicks" and other vocalizations.
The poor things have their schedule wrong (wake by day and asleep by night) because in the pet store they didn't had hides or any sort of protection to the light.

Richard, Dundee and Bonus?!?! I suppose it's not the "bonus" Pog gives me everyday
Care to explain? =)

Sure, Bonus will be arriving with Dundee as sort of a bonus. Venus needed to find a home for Bonus and offered me a two for the price of one sale! While talking about the "Bonus Lizard" I just called it Bonus and the wife liked it. So now we have Dundee and Bonus who should be arriving next week sometime.

good job! You always seem to have to work really hard to attain your herps. If that pair actually turns out to be a pair, you may be lying on a Gold mine with those two if you decide to breed! You said that gargoyles are rare in portugal so there are probably more people that are looking for them, and if you can achieve CB young, you could probably get more than just a few pretty pennies for them!

Good luck!

Maybe! The problem is that both these species (gargoyles and crested) are virtually unknown from the major public and consequently from reptile keepers, with a few exceptions of course.
Anyway, I would like to breed them mainly because I have always bred every species I had and also because that will allow me to trade with other breeders.

One of the crested the pet shop sold before I went there was put it in a fish bowl with something on the top to prevent the gecko to escape. I don't know if it was put in the sun or not but probably because the owner had a few more smart ideas like that one, the poor thing died a couple days later.
If they ever breed, I will be a very complicated seller =)
