We have an eater!!!

This is what our member has to say: The geckoes that I got 3 weeks ago have been very stubborn to start eating since they got here and eating maybe one cricket here ...

We have an eater!!!

The geckoes that I got 3 weeks ago have been very stubborn to start eating since they got here and eating maybe one cricket here and there. Neither one ate any fruit these past 3 weeks....
Well they were moved into the rat room today where the dogs and cats can't go and the crested gecko finally ate a few good bites of baby food tonight!!! Moving them to the rat room was my last idea....I've tried everything else and I've asked everyone what else I could try....
I'm so excited it's unreal! I was about to give up on these guys ever eating! I'm hoping that when I peek in on them in the morning that the Gargoyle has eaten a bit too.
YIPPEEEEEEE and WHOOHOOOO!!!!

CONGRATS JEM!!!!!!!!!! You have no idea of how thrilled I am right now, I've been worried about the geckos but more worried about you

Did you isolate them in the 10g verts? Or just put the whole cage in there as is?

Cody- I put the whole cages in there as is. I figured it would be one less stress step for them. It's pitch dark in the rat room at night except for a little bit of light from a street light down the road.
So, I'm not sure if the red lights from the snake cages was stressing them or the dogs and cats or what it was! But whatever is was, it must be ok now!
Don't worry anymore Cody! I'll be fine! If I decide to go off the deep end....I'll take you with me ok? LOL

Glad he ate for you Jem... did you manage to catch that cricket? Maybe it was stressing them out too.
I hope the other one eats for you! Keep us posted.
