Plants in Crested Gecko Tank.

So I am upgrading my crested geckos tank. They are now in a 20 gallon tall tank. They were in a big plastic cricket keeper thing but i felt bad so I cleaned out my 20 gal and put them in there. I want to put live plants and there to make them there happiest. I just need to know all the safe plants that I can put in there. Also, I have a rubber plant and I was wondering if that is safe for them to, oh and a palm tree like tree or yucca like I dont know what type it is....ill post a pic of it later. And my last question, can i put lemon balms( i like the smell of lemon) & vines that grow in my back yard in there? Your help is greatly appreciated

Oh the vines are really thin at first, and they have a almost triangle shaped leave.

Any more plants that arent on that list? On june 26th if the couple that is at the reptile show i'll buy a plant that holds water that she tried to get me to buy last time. It's like a cup lol i need that so I don't have to save alot of bottle caps.

What type of dirt should I buy for the Crested Geckos tank? Well dirt is dirt but you know what I mean.

Are you going to be still using a pot? A lot of people keep them in the pots, and just take out the soil that was in there originally, wash the roots and then use an organic soil that has no pesticides, fertilizers or chemicals!

I may use a smaller pot because the tallest leave will get crushed if i use the pot that it is in....the bottom of the pot is really thick but if I don't use a pot, will plants grow?
