Crested gecko- Making sure I have everything perfect

Ok I am just going to see what everyone thinks about how my setup is set up. This enclosure is for one adult male crested gecko and awhile after that I will get a Adult female, qaurantine her and so on....

Tank: 29 Gallon
Temp: 75 Degrees F-79
Humidity: Should it be maintained high or dry? I hear many different opinions on this. I hear the substrate should be dry and have a moist hide and I hear it should be 75-85... Please tell me which. I currently have dry spaghnum moss at the moment.
Feed: crickets, silkworms, butterworms, wax worms, a little baby food with t-rex crested diet, and ofcoarse calcium and vitamin supplements.
Substrate: spaghnum moss.
Decor: drift wood, suspended coconut hide, Lots of branches and leafs, log hides on ground, and fake leaf litter...

Anything wrong please tell me

I was also wondering if I could house a baby crested singly in a 29 gallon or a juvenile without causing any problems.

I was going to tell you the obvious "why don't you have a look at the caresheet?" but there is no Crested Gecko caresheet here =(

I have no crested geckos nor can I avail on the info provided from this page (which strangely I was just reading) but it sure looks they need a high level of humidity.
Here's a quote from that page:
Quote:
Crested Geckos should be provided with fresh clean water from a bowl at all times. They have the ability to find water, and in all but the driest conditions, will keep themselves well hydrated by drinking directly from a bowl. In dry climates with low humidity, daily misting may become necessary, especially for hatchlings and juvenile specimens in large enclosures.

crested geckos like 50 percent humidity I beleive and the setep sounds pretty good, a juvineile would be good in a 29 gallon becasue you would never have to buy it any bigger of a tank

That sounds good. I would try to keep the humidty at least 50%, since they are from New Caledonia, and it's pretty humid there. This can be fairly hard to accomplish, but at least mist them several times a day. For substrate I use repticarpet with a mesh mat under it and then a layer of coir underneath. The carpet is easy to keep clean and hard for the crickets to hide in. The coir soaks up any excess moisture from the auto-mister, prevents standing water and helps the humidity.

I used this chart when I was breeding mine:

Whats the measurements on the 29g tanks? I'm not sure if it is tall enough. I made my 29 into a vert for cresteds. I cut one of the sides out and made it the front and redid the plastic siding to make it into a hinge. This is it when I was going to house some D. pumilio but decided not too, so I redid for cresteds. I'll get some updated pics soon (hopefully this weekend).

I wouldn't use just sphangum, especially dry. Moist sphagnum maybe, and only because they are aboreal. A layer of gravel, a divider, and then peat moss with some orchid bark and milled sphagnum is what I would do. It is perfect for ficus trees. Then provide a moist hide that is concealed for egg laying and shedding. They eat their sheds and it only takes about 15-30 minuntes for them to complete this so there is a chance you will not see it very often.
