I have heard about Leopard Geckos needing a cap of calcium in their tank, but what about crested geckos. Any thoughts?

I do it for gestating females, but they hardly ever touch it, but since she did I figured I needed to put more Ca in the food. Plus with the high humidities of our crested's tanks it just turns into mush by the second day. Sometimes I put it in right when the lights go off before I mist and then take it out right before I mist, that way it lasts longer and is available if they need it.

Yes, thats correct, she is doing great, she pretty much just sits on my hand and walks up my arm. She is sooooo beautiful. Thanks again Cody.

Hey Venus I add small amount of cal. to my baby food mixture for feedings always. They get their calcium with every feeding. My Crested Geckos are in process of breeding though and if yours isn't I would add it only one per week. You can also accomplish this by dusting your crix weekly. Just had two new hatchlings this week. It all seems to be working fine for me. Best of luck with your little one. Been wanting to show you photos of mine they are just too large of files. Yeah, dusting their crix is all you should need to do for calcium. I don't know of any other lizards that will readily accept it from a dish other than Leopard Geckos.
