Re: Considering a Crested, Love My Leo...

I definitely agree that CGD (crested gecko diet) is the way to go. I live in Vancouver, and haven't found it close by, but I order it online, and it's super cheap, and my Crested Geckos are SO much happier having it all the time. I got another crested from the pet store, and the poor girl was SO much slower and not as healthy feeling. Anyways, after a couple months on CGD and crickets every couple weeks (2 wk olds, as a treat), she is getting healthier and stronger every day.
TO ANY CRESTIE OWNER: Mix the CGD with baby food to start, to get your crestie eating it-they really shouldn't be eating baby food, it is much to high in sugar, and it doesn't have the minerals and vitamins they need.

In response to your question, I would jump at the chance at ANY crested gecko...they are a wonderfully rewarding and friendly gecko, with lots of spunk and personality!
