Two questions: Is there any way that I can make absolute sure that my crested gecko is getting enough calcium (powder)??? And should I mix the calcium (powder) in the baby food?

Insects should be dusted with calcium and Vitamin D-3 at least 2-3 times a week.

I give directly a liquid calcium a couple times a week. Whenever they get crickets, at least once a week, they get calcium powder on it.

Are you feeding CGD or just plain baby food?
If you are feeding the Crested Gecko Diet with baby food mixed into it -imo just dusting the crickets with calcium powder should be fine
The CGD should have enough calcium already in it

A good bet for calcium intake would be to find a liquid calcium substance that contains vitamin D3 (that's what I use). I administer the calcium orally to my geckos 2-3 times per week.

You could always check their 'calcium sacs' in the roof of the mouth, though that's controversial. If you have experience, tail strenth and toe pad strength are a great indicator...but it does vary from gecko to gecko.

I guess it's just hit and miss, then!
