Hurt crestie update
As usual, I'm pouring my heart into helping my animal. He is eating crestie diet, it's all he wants...which is strange, he has never liked it. He still refuses his favorite bugs and some baby food, but is showing more spunk each time we examine him for discoloration or swelling. The pussing has slowed from the cloaca, which is good. He's a strong one, he's alot like Petri was.
Anyways, we know for a fact now that he contracted the infection himself, somehow. We don't know how it happened, his roommates are fine. Coulda been something more genetic, he's never been the healthiest gecko in the world (Why do I always pick the eccentric or sick animals!?)
We are making good progress and each day he shows improvement he increases his odds of survival. He's not out of the woods yet though, as things could turn bad on him any day...but we're watching and waiting.
