Hmmm...i've heard of polydactal blueys but i've never seen it in Crested Geckos, pretty cool!

polydactyly can happen in any vertebrate, eh? It's a matter of the digital arch, as it's called, accidentally making an extra finger or two during development. This isn't just a weird epidermal thing either- I'm fairly certain there's a bone in there!! This crestie is by far our most energetic and is actually hard to hold cause she just doesn't stop jumping around randomly til she gets tired and snuggles right in (or if it's my girlfriend holding her, she just snuggles in before playing and THEN plays).

Did you know that in the maritimes in Canada, polydactyly in cats is fast becoming the rule rather than the exception?? Something about a selective edge when hunting for fish...since I don't wanna upset anyone, I won't say evolution, I'll just imply it with this here face:
