I have one, but hes a little firecracker. Ive olny beable to hold him once, but that is cause he wasnt a baby when I got him. If you get a baby and spend time with it will sit in your had. One good way to train your new baby is to get baby food on your finger tip and he'll adjust to you by licking hte food. Remeber they are fast little guys too, i mean speed demons. They are also fun to watch chase crickets.
Theres several others here that have them, they will be able to help you too.
Also what show are you going to?

I have one Crestie, who is still a juvie. He's a cute little' bugger, weighing in at 10 g now (he was about 2 when I got him). He's very easy to keep -- no need for heating or UV lighting. My little' guy seems not to care for his fruit/crested gecko diet powder at all anymore, but he hunts crickets with gusto. I dust the crix with the CGD powder. He's definitely a challenge to hold sometimes, but I try to handle him at least one a week. I'm planning to create a bigger viv for him this fall, and am currently in the research/planning phase of that project.
Here's my Elvis:

He's a great little guy. Once I build him his new viv, I hope to get him a gal or two...

Yeah, i got the little guy today. Its name is Sticky, (real original, I know). It stuck when I first thought of it (hahaha). whatcha think?
I'll try to post larger pics, but no offense it may take a while, I've got dial-up, it pays to shrink.
oh, kinda forgot. Do any of you know wether or not Aspen products are safe?, And is it ok to feed them mashed bananas, im just curious, I lost the list of acceptable foods and the store was out of crestie diet, another question for you, do any of you feed only crestie diet?

I wouldn't use aspen, it's just not really a natural occuring product.
Mashed bananas are fine.
At one point I feed exclusively crestie diet to hatchlings and had no problems with them. They are just too perfectly designed for hunting for them not to get any live prey.

Ok, but...
I was only curious if aspen bedding would be safe?,
I plan on changing it as soon as I find some at a decent price, and as for live prey, I kinda planned on feeding them as treats.
What kind of diet do you prefer?
thanks

I have had alot of success using ONLY sphagnum moss (cheap in bulk from a plant store) as a bedding.
I use sugar free baby food which is like a fruit puree. I also give the odd cricket, especially to gravid females. Calcium powder is a must every week. I also give Trex crestie diet but they won't always take it, you gotta give them baby food mixed with it at first.
I have 5 at the moment. 2 babies, one juvi, one adult male and an adult female about to lay eggs. In the past I had a female who had Hyperthyroidism. It led to Metabolic Bone Disease and death. I cannot find a crestie who means more to me than she did.
Crested Geckos are magical creatures.
