Any retic fans?
It's been almost a year since anyone posted in here. I have recently made a trade for a 7' male dwarf retic. He's an ltc and is as sweet as can be. He takes his f/t jumbo nice and slow and as easy as can be. It's so cool to watch him eat. All I need now is a female for him. I want to get a dwarf tiger.

They're awesome snakes, but I don't have any myself. If I ever do get a large snake, it'll be a nice 'n nasty African rock python
I don't know much about the dwarf reticulateds though. What makes them that small?

Thanks for posting Matt.
Retics that are from islands off the mainland are smaller than their larger counterparts. Just like hogg islands boas are smaller. Dwarf retics generally range in size from approx. 12' - 15'. Super dwarfs average 6' - 8'. You get the same beautiful snake with a much more manageable size. They are quickly becoming more popular for this reason. Rocks get big. That's a lot of snake. Gotta love that impressive size. A little too much for me though. Well, too much for my wife anyway.

Cool, thanks for the info
If they stay that small, I may look into them in the future sometime. I highly doubt I'll ever actually be getting any giant constrictors, unless its a looong time from now
