Gravid Iguana X-rays (Iguana iguana)
The images below depict a gravid female iguana who has undergone x-rays. This iguana is not experiencing
Dystocia (egg-binding) and none of the eggs have started to calcify, but she is carrying a large number of eggs for a female her size. These x-rays were done to confirm her
gravidity and as a possible prep for surgery as the vet suggested the iguana get spayed.
The images clearly show the eggs surrounding her torso.
