I just had an epiphany... My Black Rat has now skipped 2 meals, and she is very active and a bit jumpy. It just hit me -

SHE IS LOOKING TO BREED!

Geeze, you think I would have figured that out before now .

Well, no breeding for her, she will just have to wait it out.

Sorry, no pics yet. I have been painting shutters and doors and trim for 3 days straight.

It's amazing the subtle ways they let you know where there at in life. Glad you figured it out.

Babies THats a lot of mouths to feed! But then again I have my own issues with that subject, I think Prayer is pregnant But then again thats a whole different thread.

I would love to try to breed later, but trying to find homes for the little ones (should I successfully incubate them) is headache I don't want right now LOL!
