I decided to give Talyn some more exercise on the stair railing. She's a really strong climber. I don't know why she doesn't use her branch more. She probably does in the middle of the night when I'm not looking and don't have my camera out!!

Thanks everyone. (PS -Juliane, the railing is actually a dark bluish-grey: it showed up a lot more blue in the pic and Talyn looks so good on blue!)
According to the "snake measuring software" (which always gives different measurements each time you try it -- even on the same pic!) Talyn is about 185cm (about 6ft) and she weighs 2.3kg (5lbs.) Q is about 170cm (5.6ft) and weighs only 1.2kg (2.6lbs) but I'm working on fattening her up.
Although Talyn is much smaller than a Red Tailed Boa, she is an EXTREMELY powerful constrictor!! (Far more than my sister's red tail boa, from my experience). If Talyn wraps around my arm, it doesn't take long before my hand starts to feel like it's gone to sleep.
She got around my neck once or twice and since then, I never hold her when I'm alone. She's not trying to hurt me, but whatever she holds onto, she grips it VERY tightly! It would only take a matter of seconds for me to lose consciousness with her around my neck. It is SCARY!! Unfortunately, she always wants to climb to the highest point of anything and on me, that's my head! So I just have to be very watchful and guide her in another direction when she starts climbing up my shoulder.
Just to give you an example, she wrapped around my ankles one time and I could not move my feet! I had to bend down and unwrap her (tail end first!)
PS -- tip: if you ever want to unwrap a snake from anything, start at the tail end... pulling or pushing on the neck area will just cause them to squeeze tighter... If a snake gets around your neck, lied down on the ground: usually they will let go and explore something else, and if not, at least you'll be less likely to hurt yourself when you lose consciousness!!
