Update on Talyn's wounds

Ryan was sweet and sent me a pm asking how Talyn was healing up, so I thought it would be good to write an update.

She's doing VERY well. She had her stitches taken out two weeks ago and the wound has closed nicely. Unfortunately her scales around that area will not grow back, so it will always look a bit "stretched" there with white skin showing through. She's still a bit sensitive and pulls away if I touch it too much.
At the moment, she's starting to get cloudy and her belly has gotten VERY pink -- sure signs of an impending shed... (synchronized shedding with Q!) So I hope it will aid in the healing process.

Here are a few pics of the wound today: the big one is still rather scabbed in the center and raw around the edges, but the second, smaller cut is hardly noticeable at all. I hope that with each successive shed, the big one will also look better.
NOTE : These pics are still NOT pretty!!!!!!!!
Compare to my posts Talyn torn up and Reptile Wounds if you want to see how it looked before. (ONLY for strong stomachs!!)

Thanks

Thanks Jay:
Here's another pic just to prove what a tough cookie she is: She won't let anything keep her "grounded"!
Actually she almost never climbs (at least not when I'm looking!) -- But when I put her back into the terrarium the other evening, she decided to see what was up in the tree!

Andrea considering what it looked like originally I think it has healed up rather nicely. Most people won't even notice it.

Thanks!
She's in shed again, so hopefully the wound will look even better after that... it still has a ways to go before it's really healed, but it is a zillion times better than it was! I'm so relieved!

I'll post some new pics here this evening. I'm eager to see how the wound looks now after her shed last night. Thanks for the continued well-wishing for her!!!
