Hi everyone:
Success AGAIN!!! After my BP, Monty's successful F/T feeding last night, Q took his very first 2 F/T rats today!!!! (60g and 48g for a total of 108 Rat grams!!!)
At 6 years old, poor Q probably never had a rat in his life. He was interested because it was warm, but didn't recognize the smell as food. I tried the "scenting the rat with a mouse" trick and it worked like a charm!! After smelling warming mouse in the air, and then some on the rat, he snapped them up and swallowed them down.
Hopefully with weekly feedings like those, he'll start looking better.

Wow, I think between these 3 snakes, I'm going to have tried every trick in the book before long!!

So to you all that want to convert your snakes: the "Scenting" trick REALLY works!!!

Yes, it's definitely one of the best!!! It really made my day! Now I can rest a little easier knowing he's got some extra calories until next week.
I've also got a couple of days break: Q and Monty are digesting and Talyn is blue (in shed)!
This will give me a bit of time to catch up on the rest of my life! Life? What life?
