I am going to get a brazilian rainbow boa in late July or August and I have a few questions about them.
*How fast do they grow?
*What size tank could I use for a baby?
*How long would it take for me to tame it?

The growth rate will depend on the overall health of the snake, how often you feed it, and the size of the prey fed. A baby could go with a 20 gallon tank but you would need 1 much larger eventually. As far as taming,,,,it depends on how often you handle it and sometimes that doesn't necessarily work. I had a cornsnake that I held every day for almost a year and he never stopped striking.

i just got a Brazilian Rainbow Boa a few months ago, and she will strike once in a great while, i take her out once a week and am still weary of her and I think she senses it and I am ready for her to strike. Its discouraging at least, but don't wear gloves. I found out if I move them to my other hand it works better as appose to bringing my hand to them when im holding them. Good luck.
