Haha, well true redtails such as surinames, guanas(sp?) and peruvians are some of the larger boa species, but males only get 6-8 feet typically, its the female monsters that reach 12 feet! I think a Brazilian Rainbow Boa would be a really good choice for you tho

Ya the Brazilian Rainbow Boa would be a good choice, not a real big snake, but not a pencil like corns. A coral albino is an awesome morph, but price lol.

Have you checked out other boas, like dwarfs and ground boas?

my OOOONLY concern with the Brazilian Rainbow Boa would be humidity. I have a 50 gallon, but would have to somehow rig the lid so that I could maintain the humidity. I can maintain 55% no problem... but higher humidity is impossible with a screen top. I would have to find a way to cover most of it....

Plexi glass is the best way to cover it, you can get it cheap, and easy to cut and just drill some holes in it and tie it to the screen top. If you drill the plexi glass use the drill in reverse and go slow and let it melt through, press hard and it will break it and youll have to get more

Check a local glass place they may have some glass too thats cheap, but there is a greater risk when it breaks, plexi just sorta sharters in big pieces. Also you could get a heavy clear plastic, I know ive gotten something at lowes that was to use for like a car window. It was rip proof, but with heat it may curl up. Plexi is the best way to go. if you dont mind it scratched you could get scratched and dented, but its like a cd it scratches easy and you have to buff them out and thats a pain.

I love BRBs and i've already called dibs on a baby from Beths first pairing of her brbs (its a long way off since hers are still babies, but that gives me time to move out and get my life situated). Gorgeoussnakes, even my mom thinks they are pretty and shes a snake hater!
