Hey all.
I've been into reptiles for a while now and like all things I do, once I get an interest in something I read, read and read.

However I found alot of the books I bought were for the novice.... i wanted something more in depth.

I found out about 'The biology, husbandry and healthcare of reptiles'. I would have to recommend this series to anyone looking to get more knowledge than general books give you.

It comes in 3 volumes and is quite expensive.... a total of £120 for all 3 in uk... this would be about $180 in usa. However all three can be bought individually.

Vol 1 covers the biology of reptiles

Vol 2 is the husbandry

Vol 3 is therefore the healthcare.

i must point out that there books are serious reading. For example. The healthcare covers illnesses, symptoms, treatment and doses.

But for those of you out there looking for good info and indepth information this is the ultimate read.... especially those of you fed up with books that just show pretty pictures and have very little solid information.

Just my 2 cents worth and if anyone else out there has recommended reading please let us know.

LoL. Glad i'm not the only one that spends more on the books than most people spend on their herps. ;-)
Really do recommend these to anyone that picks up a new book flicks through it and says it's just like the last 5 I got!

I think I too will be picking up some copies of these!
