It may or may not work, i am not sure. But why anyone would put a die in there reptile is asinine. In my opinion people need to see reptiles for there natural beauty and stop this kind of **** such a hybrids, this die stuff etc... Just my 2 cents.

I wouldn't go as far as to say it is foolish. Its not a die for your herp, at least I don't think thats what it is. Color enhancers are used to try to get some captive reptiles to resemble their wild counterparts. I don't know how this spray is used, it looks as though you spray it on the food. If you spray it on the animal I definately have my reservations. For example, some amphibian hobbyist supplement with paprika and/or beet powder to try to perk up some of the red colors in some species. The idea is that there is a lack of caretenoids in our herp's captive diets which leads to some species not displaying their vibrant natural colors. I think it is apparent that our captive buddies are lacking something in their diets.
Like I said, if you spray your animal with it I wouldn't use it, thats almost like 'painting' your herp . If its a spray for the food it might actually work to boost the natural color.

It sounds like nothing more that pumping up the substances naturally found in their food to increase the coloration. This has been done with tropical fish for years. The diet we feed our herps is nowhere near what they would naturally consume in the wild. A good example is pink flamingos in captivity tend to lose or never develop the brilliant pink color they have in the wild. The color was due to the shrimp that they would normally eat being lacking in their captive diet. When the color enhancers in the shrimp were introduced in the diet the pink returned
Beta Carotene is a known red/orange color enhancer.
Whether it will actually due anything with your herp remains to be seen. IMO if you are supplying a good balanced diet you don't need it.

I agree that it may just be a way to supplement a herps diet to mimic the way it would eat in the wild for instance I know Ive fed my darts wild caught bugs as opposed to store bought for a while and the change in colors and even growth speed was very noticeable!
