    Back Up Wall Battery

Around here we get some good storms that pop up (usually when im at work) and the power likes to go out. Luckily my wife was home the last time anx was able to unplug my filters. But if shes not home the next time, do they make some sort of back up power supply i can plug into the wall and plug my filter in? So that when the power does go out it will switch to battery power and keep goin for a while longer.
As mg filters arent self priming... its storming pretty good now thats why i thought of it.

These Noma's work good. I have used smaller versions of this one on my incubator.
Not sure if this type is available in the U.S. but some version will be.

I bought after a bad summer of trying to hatch Uromastyx eggs amidst power outages.
Some say they aren't any good but I never had any problems.

It would be nice but 500 bucks is a little out of my price range

You can get smaller versions as well that vary alot in price.
Anywhere usually from 200watt or 300 watt and up.

    Here's one.

    Re: Back Up Wall Battery

Would have to look more carefully at the specs from manufacturers website.
But you would be best off just hooking up one floodlight to keep some available heat. Running everything would run the batteries out much faster.
