If you are looking for UVB...I dont think those rate well at all.....Best UVB bulb out there is the Megaray www.reptileuv.com and some people still use the Reptisun 5.0 also.....good luck.....

Might I direct you to here, read read read:

http://www.uvguide.co.uk/compactlamps.htm

It's all about how far the bulb is from the surfaces in the enclosure, and how much UVa/B your pet requires.

The coil lamps you are talking about are for very small animals with low UVB requirements. It depends on what type of animals and what type of cage you are going to use them in.
If, judging from your avatar, its for a waterdragon, they are useless.

I'm not aware of ESU bulbs, so unfortunately cannot comment on their effectiveness. What animal is the UV for? - this will help determine the levels of UV it requires and for how long; different types of bulbs are better for different species depending on their requirements.

Say what? UVb is a specific part of the UV spectrum, as is UVa, the UV given off is the same, it's all EMR (electromagnetic Radiation).
