Exoterra rainforest heat pad

Just a heads up, the last exoterra heat pad I bought (rainforest) produced about .5 degrees more heat than room temps...terrible. It did nothing. The one before that the plug actually detached from the pad after 2 weeks of use, I have no idea how but it got tapped and just came out.

The Desert ones seem to work alright, but I think I'll stick to zoomed from now on for the pads.

There was a big discussion about these things on another forum about them actually catching on fire (mind you the guy had it on wood) and it got started because somebody elses was getting to hot and I have 2 one for my snake (which gets way to hot so I keep it on a dimmer) and one for skittles (that hardly warms up)

Flex watt is by far better to use. Zoomeds are known for hot spots. Cobra pads are great. First I heard about exo terras, only got one of them though. ill watch it.
