My auratus

I recently added to my dart frog collection with a quintuplet of Blue and Black D. auratus. I also finished their vivarium, a 55 gallon paludarium, which I posted about a few months ago.

They're hard to get a photo of, especially in their viv. All four are in there but will be seperated until I can determine their sexes. I don't believe there isn't one pair yet they aren't breeding.

I have some more plants and moss in the mail for this. It needs some work but I am pretty pleased, the condensation is a real drag but as long as the frogs are happy I can live with it.

Thanks for looking.

I almost forgot these guys. These are my first froglets that I raised from a breeding pair, and I heard calling last night, I hope, so I completed the circle of life

Thanks for the compliments. The enclosure consumed...err occupied about 6 months of my life

I do feel it is unique among the vivarium world. I tend to try and keep it naturalistic with just a few plants, planned well for growth, and a nice array of colors....not a plethora of green, no matter how much constraint it takes.
